This is a translation. The Italian version of this policy is the binding one.
What we collect, why we do it, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us. Notice provided under articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679.
Who handles your data
The data controller is Technosport Italia S.r.l., VAT and tax code 08417161000, with registered office at Via di Valleranello, 82, 00128 Roma (RM).
For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights listed below, write to info@technosportitalia.it or call +39 335 8028628. A person will answer, not an automated form.
What data we collect
The data you give us. Only what is in the quote request form: name, email address, phone number and type of project and, optionally, a budget range. There are no other fields and we add no hidden ones: the only invisible field in the form is an anti-spam trap that stays empty and records nothing about you.
The data the server records on its own. Like any website, our web server keeps a technical access log: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type. It is used to run the site and defend it from abuse. We do not use it to profile you and we do not cross-reference it with the form.
What we do NOT do. No profiling cookies, no statistics or analytics tools, no advertising pixels, no newsletter, no sale of data for commercial purposes. The typefaces are also on our own servers rather than on an external network, so visiting the site does not expose you to third parties.
The only exception is the Google map on the Contacts page, explained below: it stays off until you load it yourself.
The weather you see on the home page and in Projects is requested by our server, not by your browser. At most every ten minutes per place the server queries the public service of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway, api.met.no); your browser reads the data only from our site. Nothing about you reaches MET Norway: not your IP address, not the page you are visiting, not your browser data, not your location. Only the coordinates of a city near you arrive or, if we do not know where you are, those of Rome.
To show you the weather where you are, our server works out your city from your IP address by comparing it with a database installed on the server itself (DB-IP.com, IP to City Lite, CC BY 4.0 licence, https://db-ip.com). The comparison lasts as long as the reply: the address is not stored, not logged for this purpose and not sent to anyone. The resulting area is approximate and may be wrong: the "Use my location" button lets you correct it. Only in that case does your browser ask your permission to know your location; if you agree, it rounds it to about ten kilometres and sends it to our server, which uses it only to pick the nearby city whose weather to request, without storing or logging it. You can withdraw the permission at any time from your browser settings. The "Back to Rome" button shows Rome's weather.
If you pick a language with the IT | EN switcher, your browser remembers the choice in local storage ("ts-lang") and, if you dismiss the suggestion to switch to English, in session storage ("ts-lang-notice"). These are your own choices, they stay on your device and never reach us: the cookie policy explains how to delete them.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
To reply to you and prepare a quote. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by you (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Without this data we cannot get back to you, and it is the only reason we ask for it.
To run and protect the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (art. 6.1.f GDPR). It concerns only the server's technical logs.
To show you the Google map, if you ask for it. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
To show you the weather where you are, based on your IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering you relevant content with minimal, immediate processing (art. 6.1.f GDPR). You can object at any time by writing to the contacts above.
To correct the weather area, based on your location, only if you ask for it. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given with the "Use my location" button and with the browser permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
To comply with the law, if you become a customer. Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR), for example the tax and accounting obligations tied to a contract.
The Google map
The Contacts page has a map provided by Google. To draw it, your browser must connect to Google's servers, which at that moment receive your IP address and information about your browser, and may store their own cookies on your device.
For this reason the map does not load by itself: in its place you find a panel with a button. Until you press it (or accept from the banner), your browser does not contact Google in any way. If you prefer not to load it, the address and contact details are written in plain text on the page and in the footer: you lose no information.
What Google does with that data is decided by Google and described in its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We receive nothing from that interaction.
Who we share data with
The form data is sent to the Web3Forms service, which forwards it to our mailbox: it is operated by Web3Creative (India, with infrastructure on Amazon Web Services) and is a data processor under art. 28 GDPR: its data processing agreement is incorporated into its terms of service. It handles the data only to deliver the message to us.
The site is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. (an Italian company), also a data processor for technical storage only, under the appointment provided for in the hosting contract.
Google, limited to the map and only if you load it yourself, as an independent data controller.
Beyond these, the data may be seen by our advisers (for example the accountant) when needed for legal obligations. We do not sell it, we do not pass it on for advertising and we do not use it to profile you: never, under any circumstances.
How long we keep it
Quote requests: there is no automatic deletion. Requests stay in our mailbox for as long as they are needed to handle the request and our relationship with you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time by writing to us. Web3Forms keeps a technical copy of the submission for a maximum of three years and then deletes it automatically. If the request becomes a contract, the data follows the legal terms for contractual and tax documents (usually 10 years).
Server technical logs: the hosting provider keeps them only for as long as needed to keep the service secure and running, following its own rotation schedule, and we do not use them for any other purpose.
Your cookie choice: 6 months, then the banner asks you again.
Transfers outside the European Union
If you load the map, the data of that connection reaches Google, a company based in the United States, which declares that it operates under the safeguards provided by European law for non-EU transfers. It is the only transfer outside the Union that the site can generate, and it happens only with your consent.
Web3Forms operates from India and also uses infrastructure outside the European Union: transfers from the EU take place under the standard contractual clauses incorporated into its data processing agreement. The Aruba hosting is run exclusively in the provider's Italian data centres: it involves no transfer outside the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: access your data and obtain a copy; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict its use; receive it in a machine-readable format to take elsewhere; object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Where processing is based on consent, that is for the map alone, you can withdraw it at any time from the "Manage cookies" link in the footer. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and does not affect what happened before.
To exercise any of these rights an email to info@technosportitalia.it is enough: we reply within one month. You do not have to justify the request and it costs you nothing.
If you think we are getting it wrong
Write to us first at info@technosportitalia.it: it is almost always solved by talking about it.
In any case you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or to go to the courts.
Changes to this notice
If we change what the site does, we update this page beforehand, not afterwards, and change the date at the top. The last revision is dated 27 October 2026.
